Myanmar (Burma) in pics

Standard

I walked across the Friensdship Bridge to Myanmar for a day with a temporary visa.

It was noticeably poorer than Thailand but I saw some beautiful temples and wall murals. They were a different style than what I have seen so far.

The food was different as well – not as sweet and sour and more chick peas. Also delicious – just different. I would have liked to spend more time there but a day was the most I could get with the temporary visa. You can see why the food is so spicy.

    • Thanks ! I’m pretty excited about the retreat ! And I found an amazing place tonight to stay right in the shadow of the temple. I am like a den mother. All the kids are my kids age. It’s hilarious. 🙂
